Welcome to the 4th Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FSSL) PGR Annual Conference, October 2024
Join PGRs from the FSSL for the annual conference, an inspiring event delving into the forefront of social sciences and law research. It is your chance to share your insights with a diverse audience, receive constructive feedback on your work and ignite meaningful discussions. Here is what you need to know:
- Conference dates: 23 – 24 October 2024.
- Conference theme: This year, we want to create a platform for PGRs to spotlight their innovative projects and ideas, captivating audiences with discoveries and insights. This is why we are presenting the PGR Showcase event, which invites students and staff to come together to celebrate the contributions of PGRs to the faculty research community. This vibrant celebration will allow students and staff to interact at the forefront of their respective fields.
- Target audience: All PGR students in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law are welcome to submit an abstract.
- Submission types and deadline: We accept submissions for oral and poster presentations. Keep your abstract within 300 words, excluding references. Use this form to submit your abstracts by 31st In the form, you can specify which presentation type you want to apply for (oral or poster). Please note that we will do our best to accommodate your preferred choice of the presentation type, however, the final decision will be made based on the number of submissions.
- Acceptance notification: You will receive the notification of your acceptance and feedback by 2nd September 2024. The reviewers will let you know what type of presentation, an oral or poster, you are going to give.
